Sorta. Been around various forums for many, many years. See a few faces I'm familiar with.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm over in Minnesota. So... that means a few months of cold and snow until can get outside and ride up here. Although, I'm looking forward to the Jennings trackday in early March as it's the beginning of a very, very busy season in '10. :toocool:

Welcome to the site. A lot of us are making that trek mid-Feb.

Thanks. Next March will be my first time at Jennings, so I'm looking forward to riding a new track as well as getting into some warm climate. It's already been a long winter.

Luckily I have an indoor motocross facility to help keep me sane. Just need to replace the clutch on my 450 before I can ride.

I was sort of torn between doing the Feb date or the March one with the R1-Forum guys.
Just a bit more comfortable with the crew going down in February since even though its not a NESBA date for all effective purposes it sort of is one (not sure if that makes sense).

I wish the R1-Forum crew did a day somewhere closer to the mid atlantic during the season.

That makes sense. Ride with whom you're comfortable with, really.

I was going to do the trackday last year, but had to back out due to uncertainties of job and such as they were cutting hundreds of people and I couldn't afford to take the time off.

This year's a little different. I have to make it to both the trackday and the convention this year. So, I've already booked the time and prepping for the trackday. Now to just get everything ready due to an extra early season.

I'd love to see them get a trackday together at Road America, or somewhere similar. There's people in the various squadrons planning things though and I know a lot of guys hit up VIR and other tracks on a regular basis.

VIR would be a nice sort of "central" location for a get together during the season.
