So, if you folks can be on the look out for me for a truck, I would appreciate it. I am looking for a smaller type truck....preferably a Toyota or a Nissan....but will consider a Ford or a chevy. Trying to stay under 3K.....so if you see anything that's decent...let me know. If you can look it over for me, and it looks solid, I might buy it. Don't care about mileage, just want to make sure it's not leaking oil like it's cool and doesn't need any major work. Also, emissions is an issue as well (it's CA....what did you expect :headshake: ). So just keep a look out for me.

does emmissions really matter on a used vehicle? i thought in kalifornia if a vehicle is x-old or has x-miles it's can be brought into the state even if it did not have the communist emmissions standard on it from the factory?

Emissions still matters....when we moved out here we had to have both of our vehicles tested for emissions....so I don't know what the age restrictions are or limits, but they still require it as far as I know. That's why they had the cash for clunkers gig out here...they wanted to get rid of all of the older vehicles so that they didn't have to listen to people bitch about the emissions gig.
