yeah, for that money here you could have that house & a really nice chunk of ground. I'd go nuts with a yard that small even if I had a HUGE beautiful house. I need some room to 'play', lol. Jr, at your age and single I'd be at every track day I could possibly make it to also. Don't forget guys, I'm 35, married 11 years, and have 2 kids. And if trackdays were my only "zen" moment, it probably wouldn't be a big deal. But I have the R1 for the street, Banshee and the Grizzly offroad, just bought a new truck, and rifle & bowhunt as much as possible too. All of which can be pretty costly now and then and time consuming. So my wife is pretty tolerant of such things but of couse she's going to draw the line somewhere and I don't blame her, lol. By the way Jr., that's just Chia's way of telling you that he's the only one that truly cares for you.

jarhead05 wrote: So....we are officially house owners.....won't be moving in till the end of the month....the current "owners" (technically renters now that we own it) wanted a month to move out....husband is retiring and they are moving up to BFE Colorado. So they are giving us $2100 to rent it out til the end of January Pics will be loaded up as soon as we get in there and get settled..... So here's the skinny on the house: 3 BD/2.5 baths. 2260 sq. ft. Small private community consisting of 14 homes (not gated). Literally will take me 20 minutes to mow the front and back yard (if that)....grand total..... $470,000 Ohh....and there's an HOA fee of $125/month....with no playground, pool, or hot tub But we will be buying a hot tub in the future Sounds like a good deal for out there. To be honest, I wouldn't mind having something like that out there. Not that I'm up on the assoc. fees. But, I'd like the house. Oh, and if you mow your own yard, invest in one of these: Scott's Reel mower. I have one for our yard, which is probably the same size as yours, and it takes me about 25 minutes to cut it twice (opposite directions). Being that I'm an earl AM person, I'm out there at 0600 or earlier mowing and no one's complained yet.

thanks man for the advice...but I already have a gas powered mower and weed eater. I don't know if I am going to be doing the yard work or not.

No problem. We used to have a few different gas ones. But, once the prices started going up, it seemed a waste to have a gas mover. I was glad when the engine died on our last one so I could buy the reel mower. I have an electric weed whipper too. But, I typically use grass shears more.

Ladies and Gents; After months of putting it off....here is what $470K buys you in SoCal...Enjoy Front yard (the picture makes it look bigger than it is) Other part of front yard leading to back yard The actual "backyard" (and yes...that is my sons bubble mower...but even with that, it only takes me five minutes to mow it...lol) Back patio area Other side of house....any suggestions??? Master tub Separate shower (I love this thing)
