Looks like NESBA is on a screw 'em, do we and how roll.
Credits issued after 1/2011 will now carry a 15% transfer fee.

GREAT..........

I understand it takes them time to process the credit transfer, but 15% in my mind is excessive. I know they claimed they have to track the credits the whole way back and blah blah blah, but it seems to me if it takes that much time then either their process is bad or they need to leverage technology a little better to help them keep track of credits.

My thought is people just won't buy credits in bulk anymore...

The point about cost of transfer also disregards the notion that at least a significant part of the credits are likely never used. This is much like the gift card phenomena. There is a built in percentage of pure profit just in the nature of the transaction.
By charging the fee they are basically double (or triple) dipping at the expense of their members.
The more new rules NESBA makes the less likable it becomes.
