it got stuck on me yesterday, todya it went right through.
the only difference was that yesterday I was trying to register for 9:40 or 10:40, today I registered for 8:30 and did not have any issues. Dunno if there is something to that or not.

Well, I tried it for 8:30 and it went right through. WOOOOPAAA WOOOOPAAA....says the R1! I think maybe a lot of people were prefering a warmer track as was I for the later reservations? If a slot is full though I would think they would let you know in some manner instead of just letting you get lost in space wondering what's happening. Oh well. I'm in!

Just remember when riding these demo bikes that they are street setup including tires. The pegs are lower, the tires are not as good and they will be cold on a cold track. Just take it easy. Last year some guy binned an R1 in T5 at Summit because he tried to grab a handful of gas coming out on cold tires. :dunce:

SWEET! Just tried it and got through too!

I'll be joining you on an R1 on Saturday at 8:30 :-)

AND

I'll be testing an R6 at 8:30 on Sunday

Got both confirmations by email already too :toocool:

sweet...I LOVE my r1 and want to just feel how much more raw power they have with the different engine and all. My engine is the old 5valve, outdated compared to the new R1.

i'm not worried about pushing a demo bike...not like your going to get a bump while pushing a demo bike. I just want to see how the new updated engines compare to the older stuff like my 03. Plus get a little extra track time on someone elses bike :moon:

According to this post, you can sign up for your groups normal timeslot and they will let you take a demo bike out in the actual session instead of the 8-9 AM timeslot. May just be better because you would be able to pass people then.

now they tell us :headshake:

oh well, i'm sure it will be fine at 8:30 - I'm not confortable taking a bike i've never ridden, not set up for me and on street tires up to my "normal" pace anyway.
