Wonder if this open the door for Spies to get on the factory M1? Having a really hard time seeing Stoner and Rossi on the same team

Ohh I like it, I didn't even think about Spies.
You could be on to something. Maybe Yamaha is sick of paying Rossi so much $$ that Spies is a better option. With Lorenzo and Spies on a team, that would be a sick combo. Once Rossi heals up you never know, he might do really well on the Ducati.

I don't see Rossi going to ducati, I doubt yamaha would let him go and if they do they are dumb. Rossi is the best hands down. I see a possibility of stoner going to honda, Jorge to ducati or spies to honda or ducati if yamaha doesn't put him on the factory team

Might have been the MotoGP race this past weekend that I thought I heard the announcers saying the speculation along with a team Ducati riding contract was Rossi may also be offered a role with Ducati after he retired from racing. That might be the edge for Ducati, the thought of being involved with design of a new bike or something similar could be appealing for him. My crystal ball says Rossi to Ducati, Spies to Yamaha. And then probably Stoner will go to Honda.

Id really like to see a little mix up in the riders on different makes, just to see a change.
I remember reading somewhere that Yamaha spent more on the M1 development then Ducati in total is worth. Kinda a fun fact, wish i could find it again.
