hes pretty much right on.
racing is fun in its own way. i like going out there and pushing myself to the limit and seeing how good i can do. now i look forward to going to td's to bs with all you guys and run at a fast pace but not at the limit as i used to do. now i can enjoy it more.

Reminds me a bit of when I was ski racing... You'd get out there with knee braces, cut off casts, magazines stuffed under armor/gear to protect broken or brused ribs, arms, etc.

The one thing he does not mention is just how much better/faster/stronger the people that actually get paid to do sports for a living are than the typical "fast" club guy. Not just in motorcycle racing but in any type of competative sport.

The biggest thing I notice is that now with running after 20 min I still feel pretty good after that 8 lap race I'm exhausted and ready to get off the bike

like jr said track days are for fun and to hang out at the races your strictly focused on yourself
