I know NESBA has May 8/9 there but I can't do that weekend. Looks like their next weekend at Main is in September :wtf:

Anyone else doing something there on a weekend before that? Does not look like STT or TPM are either. I wanna try out this great, new surface Lee won't tell us about...

I'm planning on doing Main on June 11th and JC on June 12th. It's a friday/saturday but at least I'll get to go out on main.

You should be "sick" and come out.

I may actually do that - I've never ridden Jefferson. I just don't want to go for a single day.

Unless your racing, NESBA has in the past had exclusive privelage of hosting Main dates for the weekend.

does not seem like any motorcycle orgs have that privilages this year - or at least much of a privilage.... nesba used to do a lot more weekend dates at summit - sort of sucks..

stink is that the repave was hit or miss at main?

mike- JC is a fun little track, the back section is tough to pick up but its fun to wheelie over the hill and throw it into the turn. plus running sub minute laps you get a lot of laps in during a session

Yeah until 3 or 4 years ago no one but racing had weekends on Main. THen they were able to grab the weekend for Easter and then added the Sept date about 2 years ago. Now they have May instead of Easter this year. JC can be a fun little course, but generally doesn't fill so if people don't ride it, they can't keep offereing it.

i'm not whining at nesba at all, just in general about lack of weekend track days at main regardless of org...

given the choice i'd rather ride there with nesba than anyone else i've ridden with so far.

Mike, you should definitely do the Friday / Saturday. I'm planning on book it soon. I haven't done main but have done JC in the past. I agree, it's a fun track and it's got some interesting turns on it! It's actually where I got my bump to "I".

Maybe we can talk Nate into going too.
