I took an 04 636 off the street last year and converted it to a full time track duty bike. yay!

When I ran the bike on the street, it was run fairly regularly and well maintained. Now that it's not road capable (legally), it's not getting used as often. My schedule isn't working out that I'm able to do more than say 4 days this summer. Should I put sta-bil in the tank as I would for long term storage over the winter or is firing it up every week or so and letting it get to temp enough?

Thanks. :)

I would not bother with Sta-bil and/or firing it up. Just put it on a battery tender and keep a full tank. If you are getting it out 4 times this summer you will not have any issues with fuel going bad on you.

Hopefully you have an easy way to move it, but i would just load it up and take it to so off the beaten path roads and rip it around a little.

A lot of people i know have non streetlegal/COD stunt bikes and its not a super big hassle to ride in parking lots for hours.

A battery tender is a good idea no mater what, they are on sale this month at most places

I always mix Sea-Foam in fuel. Never know when I'm going to ride next. Maybe next week, or four months from now. Sea-Foam is FAR better than Stabil.

If I know they're no chance of riding before next season, then I'll go through and do as much maintenance/repair as possible and change oil right before I completely store it for the winter.
