California Superbike School the last time I attended a few weeks ago I was hoping this would be ok.
How was that? What level? NJMP?
My last CSS was Sept.7th, level 4 at NJMP.
I went through all levels - this was my first time at level 4. Levels 1 thru 3 is classroom with specfic drills for each track session. Level 4 is more free form - you come to them with what you think you need to improve upon. They will work with you on that aspect. They will also validate what you think your issue might be. For example, I said I think my body position is reasonable but my big problem is one of timing - turns out I needed to adddress some body position issues in my setup - they also had me work on some drills for being more smooth and not upseting the bike as much.
Students return for level 4 many times. I happened to pit next to a guy yesterday at NJMP who was at CSS with me on the 7th - he said he's done level 4 more than 10x.
Anyway you might be able to tell that I'm a big fan of the school. The best thing is everyone there is on the exact same page as to the program and teaching methods you won't get any conflicting information. The only downside - it's a little pricey.
For me who has SO MUCH TO LEARN it's great - someone more established I still think would probably benefit but they would have to try it to see if the cost was equal to the gain.
