Great write up! Don't dwell on the black flag. It's not like you got an ass chewing and/or told to sit out a session. Probably just a "courtesy" chat to make the CR happy that he was acknowledged about his report of a possible infraction.

Kind of glad I called it quits at lunch on Sat. The CEL was the Air Temp sensor in the airbox gone bad. This is the second one in two years. I found one on eBay for $5 and ordered it. Hopefully it's not faulty either. Other reasons for calling it a day was the rear tire being shot and unknowingly to me until I got home and started to check out the bike, my left rear set had come loose so that could have spelled trouble if I had gone back out. Weird how things work out sometimes....

Will check out the vids later to see if I'm anywhere to be seen, passing or being passed...

Great riding with you [pyro] Bill! Odd about the air temp sensor. I think it's past the filter? You running a K&N or something like that - maybe too much oil?

First one os the session we boht ran our best laps in. I think you go by after I put my hand up for pit in.
The second video has you passing me. It's the one where you got around me and then we got the red flag right off T1 just as I had you so nicely set up for T2 :rant:

Hope you can make it up north for a few days this year - would be great to play tag again.
