I had grand plans for the weekend! I was going to hit Nelson Friday night, BeaveRun on Sunday, and Mid-O on Tuesday. At least Nelson worked out! I missed BeaveRun to drive my kids to Erie to stay with my parents for the week. The forecast went to shit for Mid-O on Tuesday and Pat and I just couldn't rally last night to make the drive out to do Monday (I had just got home from the 5 hr round trip to Erie and Pat had just got home from da Beave). Now I'm in my office kicking myself because I'm not at Mid-O!!! I had a good time at Nelson's Friday evening track day. It's hard to beat almost 4 hours of open track time for $65! There weren't a ton of riders there, and there was plenty of open track to be had. I ended up getting 145 miles in, so basically a full track day's worth of riding. I believe that I dropped some time, but we had beacon issues so I can't confirm that. Too bad Pat and Charlie had issues! It was good to ride with Kurt and Lee again!

They had the beacon facing the wrong way.

They had the beacon facing the wrong way. Unreal. I would have put mine out there but I saw the jack-asses messing with the one that was already out so I just gave up...

Haha, that's hilarious. Did they end up splitting into two groups again or open track as its billed?
