I'll be heading to the Beave with NESBA 7/23. I can only do Saturday. Anyone else planning on this one?

I'll be trying to keep 600 or so cyclists from getting run over all weekend across 150 miles of central Pennsyltucky redneck infested roads :(
It is a great cause. You kids have fun out there

bicyclists

It’s the MS150 Keystone Country Ride - charity ride to raise money for multiple sclerosis research and patient support. I'm the head safety marshal (OK, stop laughing, it's not THAT funny).

Ah, I see haha; but you get a bike with a motor right? Sounds like a good deal  . I think as Head Safety Marshal you should do stand up wheelies so that you have better vision of what's ahead.

Since I'm riding my VStar 1100 wheelies are highly unlikely :)

We had a nasty wreck last year with one motorcyclist stopped at the side of the road (HD died, surprise) and two coming up the road. The rider in front of the two decided to stop at the last moment to help the guy at the side of the road the guy behind him did not see it in time. He missed the rider in front of him but lowsided the bike and slid off the road. He had his wife on the back too. Both ended up in the hospital with multiple fractures.

We have a cyclist or two get a ride to the hospital every year. Had to lifeflight a lady a couple years ago after she did a nasty head plant.
