Sorry Justin, I gave mine to SoccerMom76 on Tracksissies.com. She said her daughters were still having girlscout camp this weekend and needed it to make necklaces and bracelets out of. Guess they arent scared of the weather either.

today wasnt too bad. made it till 2:30 before it rained and we called it quits. had a good time battling it out with tom, passing each other 2 or 3 times a lap. unofficial stop watch lap times of 1:05 in the 2nd session, so i only lost a second. staying on the brakes a little too long, gotta get the confidence back up a little more with running it deep. def knocked the rust off and got some of the feeling back. tomorrow should be a good day.

and quickshifter FTW!

Sunday ended up being beautiful, however my riding was not. I lost more than I expected during my absence and have a lot of work to do to get back near my previous pace.

Either way, still had fun and am glad I changed my mind and went. New bike is awesome except for the chattering front brakes which hopefully is just a brake pad issue and not rotors. Also, I was pretty happy the GP shift went well, didn't miss a single shift.

Looking forward to getting back to the track and shaking more rust off.

The temp display in my car was showing 29 degrees during the drive out to BeaveRun on Sunday, but the weather turned out great!  It was great to see everyone again, although I wish I would have had a little more free time during the day to BS.  I ended up messing around with the bike between every session.  I didn’t do anything big, just little dumb stuff, but I’d get done and it would be time to go back out on the track.  Kenny changed his shock and his forks during the day, and still didn’t spend as much time screwing with his bike as I did – pathetic.  I didn’t have my A-game on the track, but I had fun, and I’m getting more comfy with the 750.  I’m pretty sure I got faster every session and the bike felt great.  Pat and John both had head-shake issues with their GSXR’s in turn #7, so I was initially concerned about that.  I know I need to go faster through there, but I got through there pretty quickly a few times, and the bike felt solid and hooked up.  I do think it’s a bit less bumpy if you don’t run out quite so wide on the exit.  I never had any real slides to speak of all day, partly because I was slow I’m sure.  I put the QStar on for the last two sessions and ran a couple of mid/high 1:05’s.  I need to pick up the pace a bit just about everywhere on the track.  I think I have the most to gain in turns #2-#5 and #9 and #10.  It’s something to work on for next time and hopefully I can get down into the 1:04’s.

Glad to hear the weather turned out alright for the most part. How was the turn out for the different groups? Everyone's got new toys, new bikes, quickshifters, GPS's; I love it!
