Cool use of technology here. Canali posted up a video where he uses some kind of software called DashWare with his GPX and GoPro to overlay the data. Amazing how far technology has come in a few years...

DashWare will let you do that with a bunch of timers - including the ones Matt, Pat, Ben and I are running - there is a discount coupon in with the timers for it. I'm just too lazy to get it done.
I have a pretty good vid of me following you around Nate. Of course did not read the directions on the Replay XD either and had some sound issues with it sticking out in the wind. RTFM is not a strong point for me.
I'll have to edit and post it.

So..... Mike,

Does this mean that now you'll believe near 160mph is possible on a 675 at Summit Main? :D

Not with me on-board :) I wonder what someone who's running like 15's on a 600 is doing on that straight?

It's not so much the straight as getting out of 10 faster. Plus the other 9 turns, but let's start small.

Its interestng to look at the data and get a real sense of how fast (or more realistically slow) you go through different sections of the track.
Everyone always talks about how fast they think they are going through T10. I've heard people claim that its a "100mph" turn - real data is a real bitch :)

Would be interesting to know. I really wish I would have asked Chris Peris to take my Qstar on his bike at BeaveRun. He said that he was "at the top of 6th gear" going into turn #9. I know I've still got a decent chunk of 5th gear left going into #9...

+1! Part of the confusion is that it feels faster than it is, the other part is your speedo. I was seeing mid 150's on my speedo at BVR and the GPS shows I never made it to 140 mph. Since I changed my gearing, it shouldn't surprise me that it's off that much, but it still does...
