What buttons? These are the rotors I have. Which are the OEM. I did recheck the torque and they seemed ok.

The buttons (bolts/nut) that connect the spyder to the rotor (gold to silver part). Unless they are grossly different I don't think you'd ever notice.

All in all I think it was an ok day. I certainly wasn’t lighting the world on fire with my lap times and all of the red flags certainly was less than ideal. I’m still learning. That last section with the oil really sucked because everyone in B was just parking it in turn one. I wasn’t having any problems but I was going though a gear high just to be sure. Really screwed up my drive after that though…

I was still having problems with vibration trying to brake at high speeds even though I’ve got new pads, lines and fluid. I was able to put a dial indicator on the front rotors that I usually use to degree cams with and I got 0.003 inches of run out for the right rotor and 0.0055 inches of run out for the left rotor. I’m thinking the right rotor is border line but the left rotor seems to be too much. What does everyone think?

In my experience, vibration when braking = bent rotor(s). There are places that can straighten them...

I think this is the 3rd session. Starts out with me following Nate and then just lots of open track.

Bent rotor can certainly do it but the runout would show a bent rotor. The buttons are the part that holds the actual braking surface to the piece that bolts to the rim. Ensure that you have the same amount of "play" on both rotors.

I'm kind of embarrassed of my riding in that video. Slow with piss poor body positioning.

Not necessary, sorry you had bike issues! I know how frustrating that is!

Was good to see everyone Monday. It was also nice to have a day with the big Orange thing in the sky vs what we had Sunday. Nate, hope you get that brake thing figured out. Was very odd to see everything looking 100% and still have it give you problems. Justin, find another bike and come play again.

I wouldn’t feel so bad, Nate. You’re doing a lot better than I am!

Thanks for the feedback on the rotors. Those buttons seem to be fine so I’m inclined to think the rotors are bent. Mike, can you send me a PM, txt or whatever with what you can get a new set of rotors for? Just the front two and whatever brand you think is best.
