Check in the mail to Dave today for Group One. Made 1.0 and 2.0, but missed 3.0 and determined not to miss 4.0.

We drove over night the 1st year we had this to avoid traffic and just rotated drivers and we made it in about 15 hours if I remember correctly. It's a long drive but well worth it. Definitely have to car pool, too much for 1 person on their own.

We've always doen it in 2 days. Less beat up that way (plus I'm old).

For those who might come way of I-81 through the western side of VA, I can accomodate a few who want floor space, couch, or a place to sleep in your own trailer (on a hill!) in Salem/Roanoke, VA and about 4 miles off I-81. I did it for a few guys last Feb on their way south for Jennings 3.0. All I ask for in return is a good microbrew six pack or two of beer. At least for 4.0, I'll be rolling out on that Thursday morning with bike in tow to Jennings instead of standing in my driveway waving bye to those who went for 3.0 without me!

I'm guessing Brian and I will take advantage of your hospitality again this year.
