I really hope the weather warms up and changes for the better for you guys that are going. I was really thinking about going, but my Grandparents coming up from Alabama, and that weather forecast changed my mind quick. Have fun guys and girls.

yeah, it looking pretty damn ugly for both days right now, hope it changes for the better.... might bring my skis along just in case

wonder at what point NESBA would call the day(s)? Beaver is OK in the wet but wet and 40 degrees may be a bit much, not to mention the fluries they are calling for...

Took my plastics off today to drain the cooling system and put antifreeze in it and what do you know, part of my fairing stay came off with it. Guess that little spill caused me more grief than i realized at first. Think ill be ok with a little duct tape job or is that a big issue? And if so any suggestions on how to fix it in 2 days? Im waiting to hear from cassandras dad tonight, hes pretty handy with a welder and im hoping he can come up with something for this bad boy.

its aluminum so it's a bit of a pain to weld - i'm not sure if this is a "duct tape moment" as the stat is what's keeping your upper plastics on to a large degree... i know a guy that can weld but I am not sure if he can do aluminum.

oh and andy isnt going to make it up until saturday night now. aparently something came up...But im still going to be hauling his bike up for him and ill be getting there predictibly around 8.

i'd try to get it welded - there's a lot of pressure and vibration there so I don't know how well JBW would hold up.

I have seen it used on a water pump housing on a car before and it held for many years, wouldn't be my first choice but in a pinch it works and is pretty strong

bring some heaters with you at 45 degrees that trailer won't offer much

Got the fairing stay fixed. Took an aluminum rod and put it on the inside, drilled a couple holes and then pinned it with a couple aluminum pins. That sucker is solid.

At this point ill be happy with 45 degrees. It was snowing today. I want to cry. Maybe i should just take the jeep up and see if theyll let me rip around on the track with it. Bet i could roll it in the carousel too.

Covered trailer is a go though.
