Definitely was a great day!! Great turn out for them, the first two sessions I went out in the "I" group and there were about thirty riders. The rest of the day I went out with "A" group, not sure how may there were but it looked to be fewer than twenty. Knocked some more time off, made it around in 106:33. That's my best to date. I am getting more comfortable with the pace between that and 109:00. I had a lot of laps that were mid 107's to mid 109's. The two things I know that are working better are carrying more speed into T1 and maintaining it through 2,3 &4, and going into T10 faster. The "A" group passing rules woke me up more than once . There were some fast "A" riders out.

I heard/saw him come up the inside and rolled out of it, but I don't think he was sure I knew he was there so I think checked up a bit and it kinda screwed us both up. Nate Kern passed me up the inside of #4 as well but his pass was a lot quicker and more decisive. He was quick and super aggressive. He got by nice and clean so it was never and issue, it was actually pretty cool to watch. Pat's riding very well. I know he got down into the 1:06's, I believe a 106.7x...

I'd go to drop 2 or 3 gears and I'd only get 1 or 2. I could kinda tell I missed a shift, but I didn't want to risk going down too many so I'd end up coming out of the corner a gear high and having to downshift again. Most likely, I was just getting sloppy, but maybe it's time for an oil change?
