If i did this what group you think i should go with? i did 4 days with nesba last year in B group and was feeling pretty confident out there. B group with these guys sounds like its geared more towards people who have never been on the track and wanna try it out. Although it may be perfect for the guys im trying to pass on the disease onto. Any thoughts?

Start out in I group and if you find it to be to much, just bump yourself back down. Prob a lot easier going down then up.

Just signed up, went with "A". Like Kyle said, if it's to fast I'll go to "I".

Since I can't make the 17th or 18th I really didn't want to miss this one. Might be it for the season

Hey guys, I'm brand new here I found the link in 03SilvR6's sig over at r6-forum. I just did a track day last weekend with Fasttrax at Nelson Ledges. It was my first track day in 5 years (had a knee surgery and took a break from riding for awhile). I was in the beginner group and I would classify it as very beginner. There were some very new and slow riders in that group and the instruction was entry level. Very little discussion of body position or braking; in fact they told us not to use our brakes at all, just engine brake. I was disappointed at first, but the afternoon sessions they let us loose and were allowed to pass on straights. I can go into more detail if anyone would like but to 11BGixx if your buddy only has a month of riding under his belt, the beginner class would be good.

I signed up for the intermediate group for Oct. 3rd which still offers instruction if you want (I need all the help I can get :dunce: ). According to their "rules" intermediate group is allowed passing on the straights and outside of corners. The instructors didn't seem to pay much attention to who was fast so I don't know if you'd be able to bump up easily. They did pay attention to the slow ones with additional shadowing/leading all day long.
