I'm just amazed that NESBA has not posted any Summit days at all. Anyone know WTF?
I've never done JC, only main. Not a huge fan of main but I'd like to try JC.

seems like the repave will take place. I wonder if they are holding out on the contracts until after the track is fixed and cured.
I hope so. i love main and a fresh surface will be heaven.

I agree. My guess would be they will start contracting out once the paving is complete by the end of March. I hope it has enough time to cure. However, you would think that Jefferson would be open regardless of paving at main. At least I have not heard of any work being done on the Jefferson circuit.

Yeah, I'm not sure what is up with Summit this year. If they do repave main, I will definitely be hitting it up later this season.

As far as Jefferson, I rode it only once, but it is very slick if it is at all damp/wet. The track is smooth, but very tiring and the back section is frustrating as hell. Oh, and the last turn onto the small front straight is off camber, so I always felt like I was going to wreck.

When I rode it I was exhausted by lunch, a tight technical course but fun. I didn't find it slick the day that I ran it. I was there for my second trackday ever and actually got a bump to "I" after the first session on it.

i like JC, you get tons of laps in a session, the back is really technical, you can wheelie the crest going into the back, it was really fun. you will be exhausted though and the last corner like nate said is off camber and you feel like you are going to crash. its REALLY off camber

JC is a fun track once you figure it out. It will kick your ass but it is really fun when you know it well and can pick people off at will. The track is temperamental when really cold but other than that, it's a fun little track.
