I'm glad I only signed up for Monday because the weather doesn't look to good today. Yesterday was warm enough for the finicky Mid-O sealer to give some grip, and when its a good weather day this track is an absolute blast. No question that this is my favorite track to ride. I'm going to do what I can to make it down there again a few times this summer.

It was packed though, while waiting on the grid for an afternoon session I was towards the back of the group but not all the way back I counted 37 helmets in front of me, I didn't want to look behind for fear of what I might see. Its a big track, no doubt, but that is alot of traffic. The pace for "I" was slower than I've seen, but that is to be expected when the majority of the group had never been there. My lap timer was giving me problems all day picking up the beacon but did manage to record a 1:42:26 before lunch.

I couldn't find Matt or Pat in the paddock even though I walked around a couple of times but I do think I got Matt on the GoPro in the last session. However, on the pit out lap I was too far behind to see where he went. And Walt I didn't know what bike to look for so I may have seen you and not known it.

I'll put up some youtube links tonight or tomorrow.

Pat and I looked for you and Walt as well. We were over in garage #5. The track was really complete shit until after lunch. The first few A sessions were the slowest I've ever seen. That track is slick when it's cold! I was happy for NESBA that they got such a big turnout, but there was a lot of slow traffic in I. I'm definitely planning on getting back to Mid-O this summer (preferably on a sunny, 80 degree day)...

Here's the link to a video of the last session...nothing terribly interesting but Balcomm is in there a couple of times. As I said earlier, the pace was nothing to write home about but it is such a fun track.

Nice, thanks for posting that! Part of the reason Pat and I didn't find you is that I was looking for the R6 that's in your avatar. What color is your 750? That bitch looks fast in your vid! :toocool: There sure was a lot of traffic out there! It was fun working through it, but it would have been nice to get a little open track - next time...

Maybe a twilight deal :boobies:

I'm in! They have a June 12th date which is a Saturday that I'll probably be doing. The other Max twilight also a Sat. but is July 3rd, which could be tough with family obligations. But I could probably come up with an excuse  .

Pat and I usually watch the forecast and try to jump in at the last minute. I'll definitely be keeping my eyes on the up-coming Mid-O dates...

Ah yes, I haven't updated the avatar yet with the new bike. She's mostly blue with white on the nose and sides of the tail. I'll find a picture to swap the avatar soon. Yeah I'm liking the 750 ALOT, I think I'm going to call it my cheater bike.

I'm with you on the weather thing especially at Mid-O; that's the only reason I haven't signed up for June 12th yet.

I posted this earlier and then took it down because I wasn't sure, but Wolley I heard you had an off, I hope you're doing ok with no serious injuries.

Thanks for the concern. I'll be ok in a few. Nothing serious for me just some shiny new parts needed for the R6. It was one heck of a crash and one I hope to not repeat.
