good stuff as always Matt! i would also like to make it there soon.

new mods look good on the bike

dumb question - on the case protection you put in - did you go with the add on pieces rather than full cases just for financial or other reasons? been debating that for my 675 too.

Thanks Mike!

I went with the add on pieces because I'm cheap and lazy. I didn't want to pay for full cases, nor did I want to have to mess around installing them. I'm happy with the Moto-R's and hope I never get to test them!

Looks good  I need to get down and run CMP, also want to get out and run with you guys as it seems we are running similar pace and would be fun.

I'm still unsure why they have those white poles on the inside of every turn, seems kind of annoying.

There are still a few local Trackwhores I haven't got the chance to ride with yet. As far as trackdays are concerned, I'm not much of a "plan ahead" kinda guy. I'm always watching the forecast and jumping in at the last minute. Sometimes that works in my favor, sometimes not so much. Hopefully I'll get to ride with a few more of you this year!

Unfortunately, I don't believe they make them for the Trumpet (I got them at SBTG). My friend was looking for guards for his 675 and the only ones we could find were GB Racing and R&G.

Letting the brakes off and tipping in to turn #1. The weather was great, but it was a bit chilly for the first session, hence the windbreaker.

Lots of heavy braking at CMP. Notice the compressed front forks.

Turn #11. Pole in the way, but good lean angle. Almost getting my toe-slider down.
