Registered tues. around 6pm. They knocked $20 off at finale checkout. $160 for fri. eve. and sat. Calling for a chance of rain, probably scare alot of folks off.

Andy, I hope you had fun Saturday and the weather held out. It was great meeting you and your...wife/girlfriend? (I forgot to look for a ring ); hope to see you out there again. I only rode Friday and I'll say this, if you are planning on driving in from a bit of distance just for Friday you could be disappointed. Its supposed to be open track, but my assumption that they wouldn't cap it was correct. First 2 laps of green flag were great, then caught the biggest gaggle of traffic I've ever seen on track. So big, they put the red flag out and made an announcement that there were too many riders on track and we were going to run 2 20 minute groups. A - for racers, B - for everyone else. Everyone else included a dude on a Concours and a couple of those damn Harley 1200 thingy's. We did get 3 sessions, but 2 were cut short by "mechanical" issues causing the crash truck to pick them up. Overall it did not feel like much track time, especially compared to what an "open" session should be. The last time I was on track was at 7:45, then crash truck for a mechanical, then a short A session that went until 8:00, then cold track. If I was riding Sat. too I wouldn't have been disappointed, but as it was it felt like foreplay with no sex.

Haha...other than somebody's bodywork flying around the carousel I have no idea, they just kept making announcements about mechanicals. Its always something with these guys. But I will say they did the right thing by splitting up the groups. The wrong thing was they got themselves into that situation to begin with.
