Can I borrower your bike for the race school? :moon:

Not sure if I am doing anything this weekend, if not I'll be down to hang out. I'll call you later this week.

What's the race school like? Does it only get you licensed for a particular race or a bunch or all...

The (Roger Lyle) race school is basically the same as a track day, but you go through the procedures and flags, etc... of most race organizations. After every on track session you come into the pits, put your warmers on, then go right to the classroom for more procedure and instruction. At the end of the day, you do a mock race. Keep your bike up, (no crashes) all day and you pass.

They also offer a MARRC race shcool at select events, which I know nothing about.

After you do the school you can then apply for a provisional novice license with WERA, or perhaps CCS. (I only did WERA so I'm not sure on the procedures of CCS). Do two race weekends without crashing and you get a novice license.

BTW, I'll be there on the 17th for tech, then racing on the 18th! It'll be my last weekend as a provisional novice!

I managed a third in HWTSS novice and a 10 out of 17 in CSS novice, got through my provisional novice races, and dropped my personal best lap time at summit main by a little over a second! And I had a blast!

Was down there with Lantry, didn't realize you were there or would have stopped by and said hi...

Hell yeah! This time the leaders were within sight at the line too!

Don't worry about not visiting, I was busy enough trying to get ready!

What's funny is; I had no idea Lantry was right in front of me, and I was catching him until we ran into slower traffic!

Congrats on the wood man. There were some crazy fast guys out there with us. I got 3rd on sat on a wet track. Sunday i got an 8th 9th and a 5th. I dropped my lap times and got a 1:21.178 in my BSS race. I was hoping for better results but like i said... there were some fast dudes out there.
