From talking to Justin, he is fine, just a little banged up. The story I got was that Justin passed a guy at the start/finish, but was still somewhat in the middle going into T1. He went to tip in and some guy was trying to pass him on the inside going into T1 and ended up hitting Justin's bike on the swingarm/rear tire. It knocked Justin's bike out from under him. While he was sliding, the guy he passed apparently locked the front trying to avoid him and went down with his bike sliding right into Justin. A 4th guy ran off and fell in the grass trying to avoid everything. Justin can correct that if I got my info wrong... The guy that hit Justin apparently went down pretty hard. He had a serious concussion, thought it was June, and was bleeding from his eyes. Glad Justin is physically OK, but that still sucks!! |
