So the weekend started out great! Rolled into BeaveRun Friday night. Wasn't planning on running the TD but had a few credits that had to be used anyway and the weather was looking good for Saturday so I signed up. Had a blast hanging out with everyone Saturday. Packed up after the last session and headed to Nelson.
Morning practice was raining so I got to try out the rains. By lunch the rain stopped and the track dried out. Put the DOT's on for my races.
Race 2 - Heavyweight Twin SuperStock. This race went well and I was able to get out in front by T3 and finished 1st.
Race 9 - Heavyweight Twin Superbike. I did not get a good start off the line and spent the first few laps getting caught back up. I managed to get into the lead and then a few turns later, I ran wide and ended up on my ass. The Photographer got a good sequence of pics of the crash. Anyways, it was great riding with some of the Trackwhores Saturday and look forward to getting the SV back on the track soon.
