what do you think it does differently from a 180? is it a 50 or 55?

it was a 55. it gave me a little more rubber at full lean since its taller. i still had like ~2 mm of unused tires on the edges.

you may have felt just more rake that the taller tire gave you - a 190/55 is a lot taller than the 180.
even going from a 50 to 55 on my R1 makes a big difference in how well it tips in.
really changes the geometry of the bike

yeah, we raised the forks 5 mm because the front didnt want to track through the turn to well. could have been the soft compound "squishing" a bit too

raised? as in slid them up more through the tripple (more fork exposed on top of the tripple)?

pretty wild - wonder if the front was taller also? that's adding a lot of extra rake to the bike between a taller rear and lowering the front end.
but hell, if it works it works :thumbup:
