Charlie emailed me and said that the WF1200A has been working well for him for his tire warmers. Said he had put some decent hours on it during power outages, etc, as well. I'm still thinking that it's probably worth the extra $70 to get the WF1800D. I called Snyder Tire today and they are selling the 1200 for $129 and the 1800 for $199...

how loud are those? kyle's (no offense) is pretty damn loud.
i was at summit yeasterday strolling around the pits. the honda's are damn near silent, yes i know the price difference is idiotic. i'd love to hear how loud stick's are.

matt, i think it's worth it to get a slightly bigger one so you cna run 2 sets of warmers in a pinch or warmers and some other stuff. i think most seem to draw around 1000 watts per set (at least that's what my Woodcraft's are rated at - others seem to be similar).

I'm still temped to splurge for the Kipor one - same dB raing as the honda and the refurbs with a 2 year warranty are like $625 delivered. still pretty dear but....

Mike unfortunelty i can only run one set off my warmers, when justin and i both tried to run our wamers it tripped the circuit breaker. Unless we run different groups in which you could throw them on after i go out (like justin and i did in may).

Agreed mine isn't the quietest but not the loudest, but there was no way i was dropping 1500 bucks for a generator that i use 6 times a year.

I'm sure the Kipor is super nice! If I had the $$$ I'd probably go that way. The warmers and genny will not do me any good if I don't have $$$ left over for track days. :biglaugh:

Just ordred a set of the Krosswerx standard warmers. Calling tomorrow to see if Snyder Tire got any of the 1800 Gennys in stock yet.

Mine are supposed to draw 1000 watts but I don't know what the Suzura's draw. What's your generator rated at?
