So as the weather turns to sort of ugly for Summit this Friday I can't decide if I should slap CorsaIII's on the Gix.
Not that I really need SC's anyway but I just for some reason feel more comfortable on them then a "steet" tire like the CIII. I'm sure CIII's will be better in the rain just by looking at the fact that they have tread on the shoulder unlike the SC.

Thoughs, suggestions, etc.?

i rode them in the rain at RRR. it was pretty sketchy but then again there was lakes of water and sand strewn everywhere so that didnt help. i think youll be fine as long as its not like that last session at beaver. if its just wet and a light rain i wouldnt worry about it

I guess there are two things working in the void I like to call my brain:

1. I don't really need SC at my pace, dry or wet - but I feel better having them (at least in the dry).
2. I'm guessing CIII's are better in the rain than SC.

Since I have a changer here it's not a huge deal to swap them but it's still a pain in the ass. The other thing is that the CIII's are brand new and I was planning on selling the 180/55 and keeping the front for the R1.

well im sure the 3's will hold heat better and "heat" up, however much they would, faster then SC's without warmers. and def at a B pace, in the rain, i dont think you will have problems. if it gives you peace of mind though then swap them

yeah, I'm putting my CIII's on - taking a break between front and rear right now :-)
