I don't think these are the "comps" but rather regular raceattacks which are a step below and only come in one compound

there are 2 versions of the race attack if you want real race rubber you must get them from a tire vender lithium motorsports in the mid west or dragonknee racing in the east. they are not that cheap the ones in the ad are actualy street tires. and the 190 justin is running is 190/55 witch works well on a 5.5 inch rim becuse of the taller profile. you must change your gearing to run them. but they do work. the compound that we sell is med rear and soft front. the street tires are not compound selectable and the real race tires dont come in a 190/50.

So I think I am going to pick up a 120/180 set of Race Attacks from NESBA for $300 to take to Florida with me. I don't have tire warmers, you guys think I'll be ok? I know I'll have to take it easy for a lap or two.

you'll be fine - I ran SuperCorsa's for over a year without warmers - just give them a few laps to come up to temps and you're good to go.

I still need to get tires and i will try the conti's but i am not sure if i should stick with the 180 or try the 190/55 and then change the bikes geometry and gearing.

is there really a big difference going with the 190?

I haven't tried the 190/55's yet myself but I hear good things from everyone with the combo. You could always try them for a day and if you don't like them sell them to me cheap

I think since this is my first time trying them, I am going to just stick with the 180. If that works out OK, then maybe I'll look at going to the 190 to see if it is any better.

I don't want to change too many things at one time. If I get the tires and don't like them, I won't be sure if it is because of the size or just the tire.

I just ordered a set from Karns, decided to stick with the 180 like Nate said, don't want to change too much stuff.

Justin, i see your bike is all ready with brand new slicks mounted. they should last a little longer.
