There's this guy for not much more money that would probably run 2 sets of warmers. It's 69 db and it's a fair amount larger and heavier than the 1500...

I emailed stickboy, this is what I got back:

No, no generators anymore. The company that makes them changed the line up.
They don't offer anything that would be good for the pits anymore.

Take a look at HomeDepot - http://www.homedepot.com/Outdoors-Gener ... ogId=10053
The eBay guy on the 1500 claims it's the same as what they sell. Looks like they get $200+ shipping for it (not an in-store item). Might make sense to pay an extra $50 for it and have the piece of mind of being able to take it back HD?!

I thought I had read that somewhere. A lot of the cheap genny's I've seen look almost identical to the ones stick was selling. In addition to the buy it now I posted, they are also running auctions on the same genny's I posted. I may try to see if I can score a deal on an auction. Let me know if you decide to do the same so we don't end up bidding against each other...

Keep an eye on auctionzip.com for estate auctions. I always manage to see generators on there at estate sales.Better yet I saw 2 in the Bargain Sheet this week. Does it have to be new?

lol its just hard giving advice on these things, really it comes down to what you want to spend and what its worth to you.

Not saying not to buy a yamaha or honda, just for me it wasn't worth it but to plenty of others it is
