I checked out a new chock at harbor freight today. i went to look at this one http://www.harborfreightusa.com/usa/ite ... emid=96349

But i don't like how close the rotors come to it. it was a good price, $26.99 with a coupon but they had another.

This was on sale for $59.99 and i has a 20% off coupon so it was a good deal.
Granted it is a china made item but it is pretty sturdy. 2 bolts and 2 pins and it was assembled. The front wheel drops in and it holds the bike up really well. It then has eye bolts to tie it down. This can be mounted in a trailer or free stand on the floor. It is actually hard to pull the bike back out because the way it flips in.
For the price i think it is a good deal, kinda a cheap baxely knock off.

I did notice harbor freight has a bunch of motorcycle things now.

I have that one, i use it as a spare if needed for the trailer or in the shop. And yes for the money its a good deal.

the cheaper one is not an issue with the rotors - I have 2 of them and they work well other than not being finished very well (they rust pretty easily). front wheel gets stuck in them too, especially sticky DOT's :-)

did you get the other one? certainly looks more substantial than the ones I have

yeah, i got the better one. I like how it has the tie downs points built into it. the front part seems better because it spreads to load over the plate and not just the two bars digging into the tire.
I go it for the garage to put my bike in and in the trailer for a 3rd bike.

I guess we will find out how good it is when we drive to Jennings using it.

Damn, I was right next to Harbor Freight this afternoon and passed up going in to look around. I just saw those in the sale magazine when I got home too. I guess I'll have to swing by there next time I'm in the area.

If your an AMA member, check the magazine. I think there was a 50% off coupon for that chock.

I've seen those Condor ones posted elsewhere and I was looking at one for myself. But, I wound up getting a Bed Buddy custom made for my van as I didn't want anything bolted to the floor
