Thinking about it I will probably do what the guy with the sprinter did for interior lights and little things while we are going to and from the track, I might still get a generator for backup power and when I start using warmers. they have adapter kits for charging batteries. It's like a trickle charger as I understand it. The thing is, you're going to have to really hook up some mega deep cells for battery use as well as upgrade your alternator for them. A good amount of money in such an old beast... I have two small LED light strips on the inside of my van. They're 110v, but I know you can get similar in 12v and they really light up the interior. |

Looking for it now. I bought them at Menard's. But, their website is horrendous... Will post up when I can get the brand name. |

Took me a bit to find the link as they don't list the brand: http://shop.menards.com/shop/lighting-f ... m?cid=1348 http://shop.menards.com/shop/lighting-f ... m?cid=1348 The lighting is very good to say the least. I have it on the ceiling in a corner and it illuminated the inside of my van quite well. I'll get some pictures sorted of my toy hauler and make a thread about it to give you some ideas. |
