When I cracked my oil pan last year, I bought a new one along with a new drain plug. I wanted to replace the crush washer that goes with the drain plug, but apparently got the wrong type of washer as it has been slowly leaking oil ever since.

So my question is....what type of washer do I buy for a crush washer? Can I get it at a standard hardware store?

advance auto has a bunch of different sizes. I think they were nylon. Take the plug and you should be able to get the right size.

most bike ones i've seen for oil drains are aluminum. dealerships have them but i'm guessing if someone like autozone has AL ones they are probably like 1/2 the dealer price.
i ordered a bunch from mrcycles.com when i got some other OE stuff from them.

Just go to any motor accessory shop and buy an alloy or copper washer thats a snug fit on the sump bolt.

If you are looking for the car washer then I have good opportunity for you. You just have to visit the blog pro essay writing review as they have detailed information about the washers.
