i hear RJL's will destroy the rotors...any truth to that?

I have not experienced that. I have 32K+ miles on the RR (spread over 2 front wheels) and all 4 front rotors still seem pretty healthy to me...

well thats good to know. i ordered the carbone lorraine ones anyway, try them out, if i dont like them ill just buy something else when they wear out. i wanted to try the rjl's but i was told they will ruin my rotors so i held off

I ran the RJLs and didn't see any issues with my rotors...of course I'm not sure what a worn out rotor looks like :dunce:

gouged or worn below the limits in thickness. I have ran all difference kinds of pads on the street and track on the R1 and they had 38K on them...still thicker than the min spec.
