the more i think about it i really should get a back protector too. i forgot about that and with my track record i might want to invest in one. well anyway, i was bored cruising around stg.com and i set up like a wish list, including leather because im almost positive ill need them. totalled up to like 1900. yikes. that includes:

arai vector helmet
teknic violator 1 piece
held phantoms
A* sm x 5 boots
A* bionic back protector

that would ultimately be ideal. wonder what kind of deal i could swing through them if i were to get an order that big? i know they have a military discount so i have that going for me if nothin else.

back protector is a very good idea and required by some track orgs for faster groups.
i also have hard armor in the front. A*s suits have pockets for it in the chest, not sure about teknic suits.
make sure whatever helmet you get will fit correctly. all the better helmets are good but they all fit differently.
i'm sure Nick will take care of you, just call him when you get back. you will be pleasently surprised with the pricing.
