I like suomy for the air flow on hot days other then that i actually prefer my icon, my head doesn't move around nearly as much as it does with the suomy at high speeds +1 on the Icon as much as they're bashed I do like how light my Suomy is though

I've had shoei's and arai's.
Right now i'm wearing a shoei rf-1000.
The best helmets i've had have been arai's - light and confortable, great protection.

I'm due for a new one. I've got a AGV TiTech, HJC, and an Icon. I never really paid attention to their mfg dates. I checked them and they are all from 2004. My favorite of the 3 is the AGV. The breath guard thingy on the HJC is great for riding on cooler days. It's been a log time since I wore the Icon, but it's a good lid. I'm thinking my next lid will be a Shark...

HJC CL-12 tested and worked.I liked it KBC VR2 tested and worked, although I was knocked out the Cat Scan came back ok although some may argue that Bought a AGV Stealth from SBTG last year.Liked it but it loosen up some in mid year.I had a old AGV Demon before and the same thing happened so I don't think a AGV fits my head very well. Just purchased a Scopion 700 Rivet from SBTG and like the fit so hopefully I get to try it out in a couple of weeks

I have had, AGV, Bieffe, Many Arai's and i just got an EXO 700. Used it at NJMP last fall and liked it, time will tell how it fairs but i was crashing my Arai's and replacing them every year so i like the price point of Scorpion.

Suomy spec 1r and just purchased a Shoei rf-1100 that I already like the fit of way better than the spec 1r. Haven't road tested the 1100 yet though but it's gotta be quieter than the damn suomy. Those freakin ear pieces make a shit-load of noise.

Yes I ride with plugs. Maybe it's not bad but I don't have anything to compare the suomy to really. All I know is when I would put tape over the gap between the shield and ear piece a lot of noise was eliminated. I'm admittedly picky about certain things though and noise when I don't want any is one of the areas.
