Good to see your making it out to a track day Yeah, now the problem is finding money to do more. Finally managed to get everything in order to be able to do track days. I figured that I had been using the bike for too much commuting and sport touring duties and it needed to get back to the track where it belonged. We will see how well I do.

Well that was a blast. I think I'm hooked now. Already convinced the fiancee to pay for me to go to another one this year as an anniversary present. It's a shame you couldn't make it Madski.

welcome to the addiction Don't feel bad, as much as I wish I could have made it helping my dad come home from UPMC with working kidneys today was worth a million track days. I shall return - just need to figure out some stuff with him and my work and I'll be at the track

It's a shame you couldn't make it Madski. Good to hear you had a good time Yeah, unfortunately I'm a wee little guy compared to you, so the forks are way too stiff. I'm probably going to just swap out forks with someone who's heavier so that way I don't have to disassemble anything. And I can see where having GP shift would come in handy. There was 2 right turns every lap that I would always find myself needing to shift at the end and I had to get back on the bike to do it rather than keep hanging off. I did manage to run a 1:25 and consistent <1:28 according to my GoPro videos.
