It shouldn't be a problem towing, as Kyle said, just don't over load it.

ive towed our 16 footer (think thats what it is...lol) all over the place with my ram, same engine as yours. i do have a brake controller and a weight distribution kit for the tongue/hitch too but i never use it. these days the trailer is full of our insulation machine...
ive pulled 3 bikes and all the gear, and the latest trips were just 2-3 quads up over blankley mountain. the 4.7 doesnt handle the hills nearly as well as my stepfathers big triton in his ford but it doesnt do bad.
is their a tongue weight difference between the ram and durango?
