so i havent ridden a motorcycle in 7ish months, i thought id share what i have been doing instead. racing bicycles. i started off in CAT5 which is the beginner group. notched a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 11th and a DNF due to a flat. I then upgraded to CAT4, which is the next higher catergory (CAT1 is top amateur CAT then its pro), where so far i notched a 7th in a CAT3/4 race, a 29th, 16th out of 44 in a race that had 1000ft of climb per 9 mile lap, and another DNF due to a flat. so far its a blast and its awesome seeing how far i come already and how far i have to go yet. heres a pic from the last race where i got 16th. this is the climb to the finish. about a mile long at 15%ish grade.

I need to do something to get in shape. I could not believe how drained i was for those races. I got tired so fast and both races were red flagged.
I know justin, when u coming back. You need to teach me some new things

Justin,
I've been following your updates on Facebook and you are indeed kicking some ass. Would be nice to get passed by you again at a track day though. You can laugh at me when I'm winded and sweating my ass off and you're not even getting your heart rate up...
